Tonight’s tea is…

Sticky Pork Steaks with vegetable noodles

Loosely based on the recipe from BBC Good Food I was looking for a recipe to use the pork steaks in the fridge as they were rapidly approaching their Best Before date.  Sadly I have no fresh ginger but have used honey, dark soy, sesame oil and lots of fresh garlic for the marinade/sauce.

I also don’t have any kale (pattern emerging?), so I’m using up loads of different veg in the fridge.  This is not unheard of; my noodle stir-fry generally contains an eclectic mix of “oh shit, what do I have in the fridge that is edible” vegetables.
